Now it's time you passed your skills on to others. This course
is the first step on the PADI Professional ladder.
Your skills will be tuned to demonstration
standard and your theory knowledge is increased to a level
that sets you up for Instructor level courses in the future.
The course comprises of three modules:
Diving Skills
During this module, all the skills you have learnt since your
Open Water course will be practised and polished to demonstration
quality. This not only sets a good example to others that you
may dive with in the future but it also makes you a valuable
part of a team for assisting an Instructor with PADI courses.
You will also be required to undertake a series of swimming tests
to prove your competence in the swimming pool
Academics
Subjects covered include dive planning, management and control;
supervising students in training; dive-related physics, Physiology,
etc; dive equipment and the use of the Recreational Dive Planner
(RDP). You may have forgotten some of the details of these subjects,
but everything will be covered thoroughly from the most basic
level. With the use of the Encyclopaedia of Recreational Diving
and the Diving Knowledge Workbook all students get a firm grasp
of the theories behind our sport that can answer all questions
a student may direct towards them.
Practical
These exercises are intended to introduce you to all the areas
of practical Divemastering and give you a solid foundation to
build your experience of working with and supervising other divers
during training and recreational diving.
Your course fee includes your manual, 6 Divemaster slates,
qualification certificate and recognition emblem but does not
include the hire of scuba equipment, which can be bought or hired
from our fully-stocked dive shop at preferential rates. First
